Pamoja Housing Co-operative Society is a member based society that began in 2014.This housing co-operative had an objective of settling its members in serene environments.
Pamoja Housing Co-operative society has a number of investment opportunities. The first opportunity in which members can invest is registering and buying of shares which earn annual dividends relative to the year’s profits. The other opportunity that the society offers is an annual investment that earns competitive interest rates of 15%-25% depending on the value of investment whose minimum is Ksh. 20,000.
Pooling of funds
The society always encourages member deposits since pooling funds or putting funds together is the foundation of cooperative societies.
Who Owns Pamoja Housing?
Pamoja Housing is solely owned by shareholders who are represented by the Board. The Board oversees the immediate activities in the society. The main platform where members can give their input and engage in decision making is during the Annual General Meetings. It is during such forums that members elect new Board members.
Pamoja Housing Land
The society’s main business is buying and subdivision of land which it sells to members and the general public. We award members their land certificates once they deposit the 30% and land allocation has been done. We offer title deeds once a client clears the balance.
Benefits of Being a Member
Pamoja Housing members have a privilege of buying land at a cost below the market price. Moreover, they are able to buy their land in installments which always depends on the project at hand. The installments apply after booking with 30% of the buying price. Additionally, members’ access a housing facility.
Do I qualify for Housing Fund?
To qualify for the Housing Fund,a client is to make a deposit of 20% of the construction cost. Members are to pay this loan within 60 months (5 years). It is only members who have cleared their plot balances who are eligible to this funding.

Pamoja Housing team offers free advice to its members on a saving plan especially towards building capital for the 30%. Most of our clients who are majorly in the business community have greatly gained. They have managed to buy their plots without struggle. There are clients who send daily, weekly or monthly contribution.
